There's a 3 day festival in town this week. It started yesterday and is ending tomorrow. People everywhere. Stages at different areas lined up with musical performances. Ice cream carts at every turn, park rides, kids with painted faces, helium balloons. It's great! Excitement and noise everywhere. I love it.

The best part about Sunday was so simple and lasted about 20mins. We were driving through the outskirts of Dresden and we happened to look to the left and saw a big yellow flag with a gigantic strawberry on it so we turned the car around and followed the flag! We plucked our own strawberries, 2 baskets full of them. I of course, put more strawberries in my mouth than in the basket. Strawberry fields forever... they were so sweet and the best strawberries i ever tasted in my life. We drove around a little in Dresden and it is such a beautiful City... hopefully we go back there soon.
